Something about this program that I really appreciated was gaining a deeper understanding of the neurodivergent community and their needs. I also loved being creative in terms of synthesising a product to help this community, and working in a productive and supportive group.

I found it was really fun to work in a collaborative environment to create a unique project that can be applied in real life.

I liked being able to use my imagination to help create something that could actually be implemented into the real world.

Adam and the team at Akorn Education go above and beyond to provide students with support in the planning development and realisation of their projects. They have provided enrichment opportunities so that students can develop empathy for their target audience and simply understand the realities of the situation. Adam has also led groups on excursions with clarity, patience and expert knowledge. Aquinas College has appreciated Akorn Education’s assistance in implementing our stewardship program over the past few years.

I like this program because it exposes our boys to the many different types of engineering careers that are out there and it does this in a very authentic and hands-on project based way.
