Akorn working with Tertiary

Akorn works closely in partnership with Tertiary Organisations.

Akorn is fortunate to have had relationships with various Universities working with Science Students @ Work and ‘VCAL Students @ Work teams since 2002.

Currently, Akorn is working closely with The University of Melbourne in hosting the Robogals ‘Cave Challenge’.

Over the years, we have worked with:

• The School of Physics – The ARC Centre of Excellence for Coherent X-ray Science Through which the Growing Tall Poppies Program evolved.
• The School of Chemistry – The ARC Centre for Free Radical Chemistry and Biotechnology This program took place over Terms 3 & 4 – 2010 with a class from Aquinas College on a project which saw students developing educational resources for QUIT.
